A city that is as rich with history as it was with diamonds in the late 1800’s, it should be regarded as one of the Northern Cape’s tourism jewels. It offers its visiting tourists a wide variety of historical sites; from the very well know Big Hole to several museums in the area. But not only does this historical city offer you a trip down memory lain, on the out skirts of Kimberley are various game farms that can be visited.
Kimberley is also regarded as the entrance to the Northern Cape and travelling to either the Richtersveld or the greater Kalahari should definitely be a stop for any tourist. And like any Southern African City, when it comes to accommodation they have a wide variety to offer.
